Online Retailer Gives Back
Temecula, CA - August 18, 2017 – Saint Florian Clothing launched a hit with the firefighter community - The Straw Firefighter Hat. But with great success comes great responsibility.
Southern California apparel company, Saint Florian Clothing, began with one mission, make a high quality product and give back to the community from which it was born. Several months into sales, they are already making an impact.
"We received a touching letter from a fellow firefighter out in Atlantic Beach," says Zack Taylor, founder and CEO. "It was the perfect opportunity for us to really make an impact." That letter was a donation request for a DJI drone which the coastal department will use in aerial search and rescue. Saint Florian Clothing granted the department with the funds needed to purchase the drone and it will be equipped with a life ring. Using these new tools, the drone will be able to scan the waters from an angle not visible from land. They will also be able to equip the drone with a floatation ring that will be released to a victim before crews can arrive.
"This is part of our mission. We want to give back and assist departments that can benefit with from new technology and ultimately, save lives." - Zack Taylor, Founder/CEO
Chief Snyder of Atlantic Beach Fire said providing aerial coverage is very important to them now that the Marine Corps have retired the helicopter they once used for search and rescue.
Saint Florian is able to provide such tools to departments and stations in need through the sales of their Straw Firefighter Hat. Saint Florian Clothing noted, "We appreciate each and every customer and they should be proud that their purchase will directly fund these types of grants. They will have an immediate impact in the saving of lives from the supplies and equipment we are able to provide."
